Our office uses technology to support the treatment of healthy smiles. Our dentist Dr. Rubinger uses both Digital X-Rays and WaterLase treatments for patients.
X-rays are an important part of dental diagnosis and treatment. Without the use of
Digital x-rays are used at our office instead of traditional film. This gives our dentist a full overview of your smile. We can save them electronically as records and are able to share with your insurance companies if needed.
Our CEREC machine allows us to create a ceramic crown, veneer or
CBCT Technology allows us to take 3D images of your smile. This technology may be used if you are getting implants, have an impacted tooth, or are receiving orthodontic treatment.
Our office installed CBCT Orthophos SL 3D equipment. The addition of this technology allows us to provide you with:
- A full report returned
infive working days (current wait from Canarayis six to eight weeks)
- Implant surgical guides planned based on final restoration planning (prosthetically driven)
- Single implant guides manufactured
in houseby CEREC within three working days
- Multiple implant guides planned and forwarded to Sicat for fabrication
Dr. Rubinger uses Waterlase, a type of treatment that uses water, air and laser energy instead of drills.
WaterLase may be a technology used at your appointment if you are:
- Scared of drills
- Scared of needles
- Cannot use anesthetic
- Have a cavity
